And for the Thirsty ?

With all the summer activities, your children will definitely thirsty. Try not offer soft drinks and try to always have water on hand to make the drink of choice for your children. Add a touch of fantasy in the cold for using slices of frozen strawberries or ice cubes with strawberries! You can also serve them fruit juice 100% pure and low-fat milk.

Cold snacks

If your kids are like mine, the summer is to them synonymous with ice cream and popsicles. Instead of commercial varieties with high sugar, make your own juice with 100% fruit or yogurt flavored with vanilla and mashed fruit like bananas or blueberries and a touch of cinnamon, you'll freeze. You can get molds in fun shapes of cookware stores or dollar. When you buy ice cream, choose low-fat varieties or even better, frozen yogurt and cover with fresh fruit instead of sweet sauces. Remember that 125 ml (1 / 2 cup) yogurt or low fat ice cream is one serving.
