Osteoarthritis Warning Signs


Osteoarthritis can not be called a complaint in itself. This is a fall of many disorders that cause functional and structural failure of one or more joints of the system. This does not mean a malfunction of cartilage alone, but the surrounding muscles, ligaments, bones, the lining of the joints and cover the joint.

Some warning signs of this complaint include, joint stiffness, inability to move joints and excruciating hurt in the first signs. With over use of joints, hurt will only worsen. The hurt usually happens during the night. Some of the joints that develop this condition are the fingers, spine, hips and knees.

Heberdeb nodes that are the knuckles beapproach swollen. This can beapproach hurtful, and may well get reddish. This is general among women aged 45 and older.

Osteoarthritis of the hip happens predominantly in men who are involved in strenuous jobs such as construction, agriculture, fight against fire and so on.

Osteoarthritis of the knee is another general tasks, such as the hip may happen with the use of knees repeatedly in activities such as squatting, kneeling or bending. Osteoarthritis of the spine causes bone spurs and other disorders such as pinching or group of nerves that in turn results in hurt and weakness in the legs and arms.

The swelling is not that much in rheumatoid arthritis. The individual will feel stiff and difficult to change position after having been in it for a while. Little warming up and relieve hurt and stiffness.
