I train with heart.
You can make the most of your time spent in the gym or practice your favorite sport, but what are you doing the rest of the week? You should be physically active for 30 to 60 minutes a day, every day. Ask yourself the question: do you sit at your desk for most of the day? You lie on the couch to watch TV or play video games in the evenings and weekends? If so, consider reassessing the situation.
What you can do: be creative and find ways to be as active as possible, even if only 10 minutes at a time. Visit walk to your meetings with your colleagues, take the stairs, go grocery shopping, roller skating, going to work by bike. Train for short periods of 30 minutes on days off.
Remember: losing weight takes time, patience and perseverance. Remember, there are several benefits associated with physical activity, one of them, not the least is to improve and maintain your heart health.
Before starting any exercise program whatsoever, be sure to consult your doctor or other healthcare professional.
