Treatment of Heart Failure Right Sided

The treatment will be decided depending on the severity of the complaint. Since congestive heart failure is usually a condition in people who have certain disorders such as hypertension, damage to the membrane of the heart valves or an attack of heart attacks, the doctor may prescribe medication to treat a already existing disorder.

Medications such as diuretics to reduce fluid accumulation, and beta-blockers Digitalis to strengthen the contractions of the muscles of the heart or ACE inhibitors may be prescribed. In severe cases, valve replacement or heart transplant surgery may be recommended.

To prevent a heart attack on the right side, receive appropriate action as good nutrition, regular exercise and rest. Vices like alcohol and tobacco should be discarded for a healthy life.
