The idea is to help the animals “Live in Harmony“ in natural surroundings without fear
Ms. Tiffany St. Ives

Ms. Tiffany St. Ives, who single handedly has been running the sanctuary for the last 14 years, founded the non-profit animal rescue organization.

Tiffany developed her love for animals at a very young age. She was born and brought up in Hollywood in a typical American family aspiring to be an actress. She has background in Arts, Acting, and Painting and is an internationally published free lance writer. She has written many articles on animal welfare and care.

She started rescuing animals in her teenage years. An animal rights activist, she turned vegetarian at the age of 19 and later became a Vegan. Tiffany walks the grounds like a latter-day Noah navigating myriad pens and corrals and spends 15 hours a day, seven days a week caring for the animals. A brave and very kind woman has been called “Blond, tanned, organic St. Francis” by Logan Jenkins of San Diego Union Tribune. A number of articles have been written in San Diego Union Tribune, North County Times and The Press Enterprise about her self-less work to pursue her mission. The Purple Cow has been featured on local TV Channels. The Mayor of Escondido, Rotary Club of Encinitas and local animal hospitals has praised Tiffany’s selfless work.
